- Mixed Competitive 1 – 2.43 M
- Mixed Competitive 2 and Recreational – 2.34 M
- Ladies Tournament – 2.24
- Teams MUST have a minimum of 6 players at the start of the tournament and you must have 6 players on the court at all times. For the mixed tournament, each team is required to have at least 2 female players on the court at all times.
- If a player is injured during the tournament, a team may be allowed to play with 5 players with pre-approval from the Merritt Volleyball Association Executive. If approval is granted, the team must use the Ghost Rule as follows:
◦Ghost Rule – When it would be the 6th player's turn to serve – the team will automatically lose the serve and the other team will get 1 point. The serve goes to the other team.
- All games must start and end on time.
◦Game Start Times -If a team is waiting for a player and is not able to start their game on time; they must forfeit the first game. They will forfeit the 2nd game if the player is not ready to play by 15 minutes past game start time. They will forfeit the 3rd game if the player is not ready to play by 30 minutes past the game start time.
◦1-hour time limit (including warm-up): warm-up begins 10 minutes before the hour, games begin on the hour and end after 50 minutes of play, play all 3 games if possible
- First team to 25 points wins (race).
- Teams must Referee and Score Keep as scheduled or forfeit playoffs.
- Record all scores after all matches.
- Call own nets and touches.
- Keep gyms clean. No alcohol is allowed in the gym.
- Sportsmanship is Mandatory.
- Sunday is Single Knockout – schedule will be posted at the Social on Saturday night.
- Winning Teams on Sunday may be required to Referee and ScoreKeep the following game.
- To get everyone home at a good time Sunday, games may be played sooner than scheduled. Be prepared – be at the gym early.
- Presentations will follow last game at MSS (Merritt Secondary School).
